Mikhail Dzyudze consistently establishes the balalaika contrabass as a solo instrument on the concert stage. The performer's faith in his bright, wonderful instrument, his unbearable thirst to reveal its figurative and expressive potential, his unique technique, and the musician's high skill allow him to demonstrate the virtuoso possibilities of the balalaika-contrabass on the modern stage.

Together with composer Rustam Sagdiev we have created Concerto for balalaika-contrabass with absurdity — a musical mono-performance based on the works of Daniil Kharms. Mikhail Dzyudze acted both as a performer on the instrument and as an elocutionist, whose text is part of the score.
