The hip-hopera genre is currently one of the most underrated in Russia. You can remember the album Orpheus & Eurydice by Noize MC or the legendary show Cops on Fire by Le Cirque De Сharles La Tannes group. I had also dreamed of creating a hip-hopera for a long time, but couldn't find a suitable plot. And then one day I woke up with the idea that I have to create a performance called Toxic Masculinity of Robot Dogs from Mars. As is often the case — barely awake you forget all the details of a vivid and realistic dream, but this phrase carried over from dream to waking very clearly.

The plot of the hip-hopera tells the story of a schoolboy from Krasnogorsk named Zhenya. He lives in a small gray town and quietly hates everything going on around him, until one day in a dream he meets an authorized representative of Elon Musk, offering to go on an interplanetary voyage to colonize Mars. The character goes through difficult trials, faces bullying, temptation and betrayal, only to realize in the end that it's all just another turn of the Wheel of Sansara.
